Modification of fucoidan from Sargassum filipendula by sulfate enrichment and its antioxidant activity [PDF]
Antioxidant activities of fucoidan in different level of sulfate contents were examined. The sulfate content of fucoidan was enriched by means of sulfonation of fucoidan crude extract from Sargassum filipendula brown-seaweed using sulphur trioxide-pyridine complex reagents.
