A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Quantum Spectral Curve of $\gamma$-twisted ${\cal N}=4$ SYM theory and fishnet CFT

open access: yes, 2018
We review the quantum spectral curve (QSC) formalism for anomalous dimensions of planar ${\cal\ N}=4$ SYM, including its $\gamma$-deformation. Leaving aside its derivation, we concentrate on formulation of the "final product" in its most general form: a ...

Analysis of the scalar doubly charmed hexaquark state with QCD sum rules [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In this article, we study the scalar-diquark-scalar-diquark-scalar-diquark type hexaquark state with the QCD sum rules by carrying out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension 16. We obtain the lowest hexaquark mass $6.60^{

Reflexivity and order properties of scalar-type spectral operators in locally convex spaces [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1986
One of the principal results of the paper is that each scalar-type spectral operator in the quasicomplete locally convex space X X is reflexive. The paper also studies in detail the relation between the theory of equicontinuous spectral measures in locally convex spaces and the order properties of equicontinuous Bade complete Boolean ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Operator Lipschitz functions on Banach spaces

open access: yes, 2016
Let $X$, $Y$ be Banach spaces and let $\mathcal{L}(X,Y)$ be the space of bounded linear operators from $X$ to $Y$. We develop the theory of double operator integrals on $\mathcal{L}(X,Y)$ and apply this theory to obtain commutator estimates of the form $\

Well-bounded and scalar-type spectral operators on spaces not containing 𝑐₀ [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1989
It is known that a necessary and sufficient condition for a well-bounded operator on a weakly complete complex Banach space to be scalar-type spectral is that its decomposition of the identity be of bounded variation. We show in this paper that this condition is necessary and sufficient exactly when the Banach space does not contain a subspace ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Pseudo-differential operators, Wigner transform and Weyl systems on type I locally compact groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Let G be a unimodular type I second countable locally compact group and let Gb be its unitary dual. We introduce and study a global pseudo-differential calculus for operator-valued symbols defined on G × Gb , and its relations to suitably defined Wigner ...
