Application of Scanning Probe Lithography to Graphite Patterning

We applied the scanning probe lithographic technique to a graphite patterning in air and analyzed the patterned sample with the lateral force microscopy and Raman spectroscopy. The local electric field generated from a tip caused either etching or oxidization depending on the electric field intensity in air.

An efficient scanning pattern for layered manufacturing processes

Path generation is an important factor that affects the quality and efficiency of most layered manufacturing processes such as SLS, SLA and FDM. This paper introduces an efficient path generation algorithm. The principle of the algorithm and the implementation are presented. A comparative study is used to analyze the effectiveness of this method.

We propose a method of random pattern generation for at-speed testing of circuits with scan. The proposed method uses limited scan operations to achieve complete fault coverage. Under a limited scan operation, the circuit state is shifted by a number of positions which may be smaller than the number of state variables.

Analysis of visual scanning patterns of pistol shooters

Visual behaviour of pistol shooters of various levels of experience was studied using a video-oculometric technique to record the direction of gaze. A spatio-temporal analysis of the fixation patterns of subjects (five international pistol shooters and five international pentathletes) found that patterns were related to the level of skill.
