A Robust Automated Scan Pattern Mismatch Debugger
2008 17th Asian Test Symposium, 2008This paper describes a robust scan pattern mismatch debugger for the scan pattern validation process. Simulation mismatches observed during scan pattern validation process need to be resolved before scan pattern can be used in silicon. In this framework, we use efficient structural cone to create VCD values from a timing-based simulator. The VCD values

Modulated pattern scanning microscopy
Optics Letters, 2022In confocal microscopy, the effective optical transfer function (OTFeff) with Gaussian plane wave illumination covers very few high-frequency components, which prohibits further improvement of the resolution. We propose modulated pattern scanning microscopy (MPSM) to achieve super-resolution imaging.

Scanning force microscopy of protein patterns
Nanotechnology, 1994The development of microminiaturized biosensors requires techniques for immobilizing biomolecules on solid substrates, in an ordered fashion, and techniques for the subsequent visualization of these patterns. Scanning force microscopy (SFM) is a useful technique for visualizing ordered patterns, but it requires suitable substrates and attachment ...

Awk — a pattern scanning and processing language
Software: Practice and Experience, 1979AbstractThis paper describes the design and implementation of awk, a programming language which searches a set of files for patterns, and performs specified actions upon records or fields of records which match the patterns. Awk makes common data selection and transformation operations easy to express; for example, is a complete awk program that ...

Bone Scan Patterns in Acute Osteomyelitis
Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, 1980Sixteen patients with acute hematogenous osteomyelitis underwent serial Tc-99m-diphosphonate bone scanning on admission and at intervals of four to seven days thereafter. Scans were analyzed by computer-assisted determination of the ratio of activity in the lesion to that in a corresponding area of normal bone. Two patterns were observed.

Pattern Comparison by Interference Fringe Scanning
Applied Optics, 1974An apparatus for real-time pattern comparison based on the interference method proposed by Weinberger and Almi is described. Particular emphasis is stressed on its use in fingerprint identification. Preliminary experiments confirmed that the apparatus is feasible for the purpose.

Reversible Scan Based Diagnostic Patterns
2019 International Symposium on VLSI Design, Automation and Test (VLSI-DAT), 2019For advanced technologies, the current industry is seeing very complicated silicon defect types and defect distribution. It is very common for the yield of a new design with new technology to start at a very low level and it's critical to ramp up yield as quickly as possible to meet the market window.

Fringe scanning speckle-pattern interferometry
Applied Optics, 1985Digital speckle-pattern interferometry systems for automatic measurement of deformations of a diffuse object are presented, which are based on a fringe scanning method with phase-shifted speckle interferograms. A digital speckle pattern before deformation of an object is recorded in the mass storage device of a computer facility.
