Oral nanoCEL exhibits effective intestinal targeting of antigen‐presenting cells and restores the Th17/Treg balance in lymph nodes and spleen, ultimately protecting the blood‐retinal barrier by inhibiting peripheral immune cell infiltration and suppressing retinal glial cell activation.

The SIRT1‐targeted saRNA‐delivering tetrahedral DNA (TSA) treatment effectively upregulates SIRT1 expression, which subsequently promotes FOXO3A deacetylation. This deacetylation event relieves FOXO3A's transcriptional repression on the BNIP3 gene, thereby initiating PINK1‐PARKIN‐dependent mitophagy.

Identification of the haemoglobin scavenger receptor
Nature, 2001Intravascular haemolysis is a physiological phenomenon as well as a severe pathological complication when accelerated in various autoimmune, infectious (such as malaria) and inherited (such as sickle cell disease) disorders. Haemoglobin released into plasma is captured by the acute phase protein haptoglobin, which is depleted from plasma during ...

Endothelial scavenger receptors
Progress in Lipid Research, 2006In the past few decades, cDNAs for endothelial scavenger receptors that bind to negatively charged molecules, particularly acetylated low density lipoproteins (Ac-LDL), have been cloned by expression cloning using modified LDL as ligands. A prototypic members of endothelial scavenger receptor family, namely, scavenger receptor class B type I (SR-BI ...

Dendronized DNA Chimeras Harness Scavenger Receptors To Degrade Cell Membrane Proteins.
Angewandte Chemie, 2023Bispecific chimeras bridging cell membrane proteins with lysosome-trafficking receptors (LTRs) provide an effective therapeutic approach through lysosomal degradation of disease-relevant targets.
