Crumb bums? Context dependence in ecosystem services supplied by common urban animals
Bolstering the supply of animal‐mediated ecosystem services is an emerging priority in human‐altered landscapes. Such services are driven not only by environmental factors that shape communities of species that provide the service but also by the ...

Decoding Synergistic Pathways in Bimetallic MOFs for Advanced Oxidation Processes
This review presents a unified framework linking metal pairing and framework design with electronic structure, redox cycling, oxidant activation, reactive‐species generation, and catalytic performance across photocatalytic and oxidant‐based BMOF‐AOPs. The resulting design principles guide the development of hydrolytically stable and efficient BMOFs for

A microfluidic method is presented which enables parallelized fabrication of rod‐shaped microgels, based on step‐emulsification (SE) droplet generation and subsequent droplet distribution and confinement, combined in a single device. Microgel rods are fabricated in parallel at different flow rates based on two light‐mediated crosslinking chemistries ...

Wildfire-Driven Shifts in Bird and Red Fox Activity: A Case Study from Biebrza National Park
Fires of natural or anthropogenic origin shape some ecosystems on Earth; this disturbance can maintain the landscape and influence many processes like vegetation structure, carbon, and hydrological cycle, climate, and others [...]

Poly(Alkoxythiophene) Rod‐Coil Block Copolymers for Organic Electrochemical Transistors
We present the first synthesis of poly(3‐alkoxythiophene) rod‐coil block copolymers as a new architecture for OMIECs. Incorporating PEG and PLLA coils can enhance device performance beyond the homopolymer. The figure‐of‐merit depends uniquely on coil length.

Ionic cocrystal‐programmed ionic organization establishes a general strategy for electrostatic programming in polymeric photocatalysts. ABSTRACT Controlling the spatial organization of ions in polymeric photocatalysts remains a fundamental challenge for optimizing charge transport and catalytic selectivity in solar‐driven hydrogen peroxide (H2O2 ...
