Anticancer acitivity of Schiff base ligand(E)-4-((5-chloro-2 hydroxybenzylidene) amino)-1, 5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-3(2H)- one and its Co(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) metal complexes [PDF]
A series of transition metal complexes of Mn(II),Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and VO(II) have been prepared by using the Schiff base ligand (L) derived from 4-aminoantipyrine and 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde.

Associating a red‐NIR phosphorescent octahedral hexanuclear molybdenum cluster compound with hexaethyleneoxide chains bearing mesogenic units on both ends leads to an emissive hybrid liquid crystal showing mesomorphism on a very unusual temperature range down to −25°C.

We address the inherently weak particle adhesion of conventional air filters by coating a dynamically crosslinked adhesive layer that delivers capillarity‐driven strong adhesion and particle absorption mediated by dynamic bond exchange. The resulting enhancement in particle adhesion enables efficient ultrafast (up to 20 m s−1) and omnidirectional ...

Bis{μ-2-[1-(2-Pyridylmethylimino)ethyl]phenolato}bis[azidocopper(II)]
The title compound, [Cu2(C14H13N2O)2(N3)2], was synthesized by the reaction of Cu(NO3)2·3H2O with the Schiff base 2-[1-(2-pyridylmethylimino)ethyl]phenol (HL) in methanol–water solution, adding NaN3 as the bridging ligand.

By designing a P/N‐ and π–π interacting biphenyl‐containing diol as hard segments but side groups, a strong, tough, fire‐extinguishing and self‐healing elastomer is developed, demonstrating a break strain of ∼2500%, a toughness of 379 MJ/m3 and a tensile strength of 46 MPa, as well as a healing efficiency of 95% (tensile strength) and 99% (break strain)
