Species-specific proteins in closely-related seahorses [PDF]
Non-denatured polyacrylanlide gel shows the respective species-specific characteristics on the muscle protein of' Hippocampus kuda and N. trirnacrtiahs. Two proteins; of molecular weight 66.8 and 39.8 kDa were found exclusively in 11. kuda.

Synergistic effects of microplastic and Vibrio harveyi co‐exposure on big‐belly seahorse (Hippocampus abdominalis). Seahorses were exposed to microplastics (50 beads/L of 0.2 μm SMP and 1.0 μm LMP) and injected with V. harveyi (1 × 103 CFU/mL).

What Do Latest CMIP6 Global Climate Models Say About Future Arctic Sea Ice Coverage Changes?
Modelling of sea ice dynamics has significantly improved between CMIP5 and CMIP6, with nearly three times as many models capturing realistic annual variability in sea ice extent (SIE). What we previously thought was a non‐linear pattern of low SIE observations in 2007–2010 that would continue throughout time now appears to be non‐record‐setting lows in

The paradox of mosquito net fishing: Complex socio‐ecological trade‐offs in southwestern Madagascar
Abstract Small‐scale fisheries are vital for the livelihoods, nutrition and well‐being of millions of people in coastal regions. In many parts of the Global South, rising poverty, limited alternatives and declining resources have driven the spread of mosquito net fishing (MNF), a non‐selective practice using repurposed health‐distributed nets.
