Selenium biofortification: integrating one health and sustainability
Abstract Selenium (Se) biofortification in crops has emerged as a promising strategy to address global Se deficiencies and enhance both agricultural productivity and human health. Increasing the Se content of crops through biofortification improves their resilience to abiotic and biotic stresses and boosts their nutritional value.

Survey and multigene characterization of stolbur phytoplasmas on various plant species in Serbia
Stolbur phytoplasmas were detected in 116 out of more than 200 samples from nine plant species col- lected in 2009‒2010 in Serbia. Phytoplasmas were detected and identified by restriction fragment length polymor- phism (RFLP) analysis of polymerase chain

‘Candidatus Phytoplasma (Ca. P.) solani’ is associated with bois noir (BN) of grapevine and stolbur of solanaceous plants and is primarily transmitted by Hyalesthes obsoletus Signoret. Four tuf‐a and five tuf‐b1 ‘Ca. P. solani’ strains were transmitted to tomato plants (cv. Micro‐Tom) by using bait‐plants and by capturing H.

Export of honeybee prepromelittin in Escherichia coli depends on the membrane potential but does not depend on proteins secA and secY [PDF]
Honeybee prepromelittin (70 amino acid residues), the precursor of an eukaryotic secretory protein, and a hybrid protein between prepromelittin and mouse dihydrofolate reductase (257 amino acid residues) were expressed in Escherichia coli and ...
