Nitrogen cycling in sediments with different organic loading
Sediment cores from an intertidal marine area were experimentally loaded with different amounts of organic material, in order to investigate regulation of the processes in the nitrogen cycle, and the fate of the inorganic and organic N (NH4+, No3-, DON, and urea) released through mneraliza- tion.

Clinical Impact of NOTCH3 Variant Location After First Stroke in CADASIL
ABSTRACT Objective Despite its monogenic origin, Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy exhibits marked variability in clinical expression and severity. Variants in the NOTCH3 gene, within epidermal growth factor‐like repeat domains 1–6 or 7–34, are known to influence disease onset, but their impact ...

Objective Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a severe extra‐articular manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This study aimed to externally validate a genetic risk score (GRS) and a combined risk score (CRS) for predicting the risk of RA‐associated PF in an independent cohort of patients with early RA.

Objective Frailty occurs prematurely in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and is associated with poor health outcomes. We compared the performance of four frailty instruments, including a pragmatic alternative measure using chair sit‐to‐stand (STS), and evaluated their abilities to predict poor health outcomes.

Associations of Rheumatoid Arthritis Disease Activity With Frailty Over Five Years of Follow‐up
Objective To evaluate whether rheumatoid arthritis (RA) disease activity is associated with frailty both in cross‐section and longitudinally. Methods Participants within the Veterans Affairs Rheumatoid Arthritis (VARA) registry enrolled from 2003 to 2022 were included.
