Dynamic Characteristics of Suspended Load and Bed Load Transport in Meltwater Runoff of Qiyi Glacier

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao
[Objective] The transportation of sediment via glacial meltwater can not only reflect the glacial erosion and landform evolution, but also is one of the important sediment sources for the downstream river.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Characteristic Analysis of Annual Sediment Transport Modulus of Xijiang River Basin in Guangxi over Last 60 Years

open access: yesRenmin Zhujiang, 2022
Mann-Kendall rank correlation test,Spearman rank correlation test and Mann-Whitney-Pettitt abrupt change point analysis were performed to study the trend and mutation components of the annual sediment transport modulus of the Xijiang River Basin. Then, the

Numerical simulation on the transportage of pollutants accounting for the role of sediment

open access: yesShui kexue jinzhan, 2019
The transport patterns of pollutants in natural bodies of water are closely correlated with deposition and resuspension processes of sediment,to which the pollutants attach, and yet the influences of sediment on the transport of pollutants have not been ...

Expressions and implications of sediment transport variability in sandy rivers

open access: yes, 2009
textThis dissertation presents an investigation of the effects of a stochastic component of sediment transport in sandy rivers in an attempt to gain information about the transport system and its implications for the evolution of Earth's surface ...

Clinical Validation of Plasma p‐217tau in Neurological Diseases

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Plasma p‐217tau is a minimally invasive but specific biomarker for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, its disease specificity remains to be clinically evaluated. We validated the reliability of the p‐217tau biomarker in 12 other neurological diseases.

Sediment transport capacity response to variations in water discharge in pressurized subglacial channels [PDF]

open access: yesThe Cryosphere
Sediment transport capacity in both subaerial and subglacial channels depends on the shear stress exerted across the channel bottom, which varies with water velocity and channel width.

SPG4 and Dementia: Expanding the Clinical Spectrum

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) is a group of disorders characterized by progressive spasticity and lower limb weakness, with mutations in SPG4/SPAST being the most common cause. Detailed studies and clinical and molecular comparisons across different populations are missing.

Relationship Between Neurologic Symptoms and Signs and FMR1 Genotype in Premutation Carriers

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Fragile X‐associated Tremor/Ataxia Syndrome (FXTAS) is the most severe late‐onset condition caused by a premutation in the FMR1 gene, characterized by expanded CGG triplet repeats of 55–200. Clinical presentations of FXTAS, including gait ataxia, kinetic tremor, cognitive decline, and rare Parkinsonism, are linked to ...
