RHRA-DRL: RSU-Assisted Hybrid Road-Aware Routing Using Distributed Reinforcement Learning in Internet of Vehicles

open access: yesIEEE Access
In this paper, we propose a novel RSU-assisted hybrid road-aware routing algorithm, RHRA-DRL, designed for urban vehicular networks to optimize real-time data delivery considering dynamic road conditions.

Reaping the benefits of IPv6 segment routing.

open access: yes, 2017
Segment Routing (SR) is a source routing paradigm. It enables traffic sources to arbitrarily specify the path of their packets within a network. This contrasts with classical IP routing where packets are forwarded, hop-by-hop, along a shortest path. Segment Routing allows to deviate from that shortest path by attaching a list of instructions to each ...

Segment Routing v6 - Security Issues and Experimental Results [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
SRv6 can provide hybrid cooperation between a centralized network controller and network nodes. IPv6 routers maintain multi-hop ECMP-aware segments, whereas the controller establishes a source-routed path through the network.

Residual tail twisting in ascidian larvae is stabilized by asymmetric myofibrils that resist bilateral symmetry restoration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Improvement of SRv6 SID structure

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2020
IPv6-based segment routing (SRv6) is a new technology addressed by IETF in recent years. In draft-ietf-spring-srv6-network-programming,the 128-bit segment identifier (SID) was structured, and how to be processed in one node was described. The SID structure ...

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

SDN-Based Data Center Networking With Collaboration of Multipath TCP and Segment Routing

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
Large-scale data centers are major infrastructures in the big data era. Therefore, a stable and optimized architecture is required for data center networks (DCNs) to provide services to the applications.
