Machine‐Learning Decomposition Identifies a Big Two Structure in Human Personality with Distinct Neurocognitive Profiles

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using machine learning on a mega‐scale global dataset (n = 1,336,840) reveals a robust personality trait architecture beyond the Big Five. A Big Two model, broadly capturing social engagement and internal mentation, defines a geometric space that links personality to neurocognitive profiles.

On closure operators of Jonsson sets

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы
The work is related to the study of the model-theoretic properties of Jonsson theories, which, generally speaking, are not complete. In the article, on the Boolean of Jonsson subsets of the semantic model of some fixed Jonsson theory, the concept of the

Semantic Morphable Models

open access: yes, 2017
In this thesis we discuss how computers can automatically interpret images of human faces. The applications of face image analysis systems range from image description, face analysis, interpretation, human-computer interaction, forensics to image manipulation. The analysis of faces in unconstrained scenes is a challenging task.

Farnesyltransferase Deficiency in Cardiomyocytes Initiates Senescence and Contributes to Cardiac Fibrosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lipid overload suppresses SREBF2‐mediated FNTB expression, leading to defective Lamin A maturation and nuclear envelope instability. This nuclear catastrophe triggers a pro‐fibrotic senescence program in cardiomyocytes. Notably, restoring nuclear integrity via AAV9‐based gene therapy effectively attenuates cardiac remodeling, identifying the ...

Semantic Framework for Mapping Object-Oriented Model to Semantic Web Languages

open access: yesFrontiers in Neuroinformatics, 2015
The article deals with and discusses two main approaches in building semantic structures for electrophysiological metadata. It is the use of conventional data structures, repositories, and programming languages on one hand and the use of formal ...

High‐Fidelity Synthetic Data Replicates Clinical Prediction Performance in a Million‐Patient Diabetes Cohort

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study generates high‐fidelity synthetic longitudinal records for a million‐patient diabetes cohort, successfully replicating clinical predictive performance. However, deeper analysis reveals algorithmic biases and trajectory inconsistencies that escape standard quality metrics. These findings challenge current validation norms, demonstrating why a

Model-theoretic properties of J-superstable Jonsson theories in classes defined by cosemanticness

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы
This article deals with the problems of model-theoretic characterization of J-superstable Jonsson theories. The characteristic features of such theories are analyzed in terms of J-stability, J-P-superstability, and J-nonmultidimensionality.

Unveil Fundamental Graph Properties for Neural Architecture Search

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper proposes NASGraph, a graph‐based framework that represents neural architectures as graphs whose structural properties determine performance. By revealing structure–performance relationships, NASGraph enables efficient neural architecture search with significantly reduced computation.

SKOOTS: Skeleton‐Oriented Object Segmentation for Mitochondria in High‐Resolution Cochlear EM Datasets

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Skeleton‐oriented object segmentation (SKOOTS) introduces a new strategy for 3D mitochondrial instance segmentation by predicting explicit skeletons rather than relying on boundary cues. This approach enables robust analysis of densely packed organelles in large FIB‐SEM datasets.

Transferable Semi-supervised Semantic Segmentation

open access: yes, 2018
The performance of deep learning based semantic segmentation models heavily depends on sufficient data with careful annotations. However, even the largest public datasets only provide samples with pixel-level annotations for rather limited semantic ...
