Optimal design of frame structures with semi-rigid joints
In this paper, a genetic algorithm is proposed for discrete minimal weight design of steel planar frames with semi-rigid beam-to-column connections. The frame elements are constructed from a predetermined range of section profiles. Conventionally, the analysis of frame structures is based on the assumption that all connections are either frictionless ...

Meta-models of repeated dissipative joints for damping design phase [PDF]
Developing tools to predict dissipation in mechanical assemblies starting from the design process is a subject of increasing interest. Design phases imply numerous computations resulting from the use of families of models with varying properties ...

Seismic Analysis of Semi-rigid Frames using Skeleton Joints
This study proposes a new type of flange-widened bone-type semi-rigid frame node, and takes a 4-story frame as an example, uses the finite element software Abaqus to analyze its seismic performance under different seismic waves, and compares it with the traditional rigid connection frame.

Antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) transform breast cancer therapy, yet resistance limits their durability. Emerging evidence reveals that ADC failure is not solely tumor‐intrinsic but shaped by dynamic tumor–microenvironment interactions that alter drug delivery, processing, and response.
