SEISMIC ANALYSIS OF FRAMED STEEL STRUCTURE WITH SEMI- RIGID JOINTS
Beam-to-column joints of steel frames traditionally have been modelled either as ideally pinned or ideally perfectly rigid. This paper presents the seismic analysis of typical steel framed structure including the influence of real joint stiffness. In the first part of analysis the real rigid joints have been introduced, but in the second part the ...

Hierarchical multi‐material TPMS lattices are engineered as flexible tactile sensors by combining soft and stiff elastomeric layers with a conformal conductive coating. The bilayer architecture delivers sensitivity at low pressures while maintaining a broad detectable range under large loads, enabling reliable pressure and vibration monitoring for ...

The jointed rigid pavement is currently evaluated by the Falling weight deflectometer which is rather slow for the testing of the jointed pavements. Continuous nondestructive evaluation of rigid pavements with a rolling wheel deflectometer can be used to

Behaviour factors of MR steel frames with semi-rigid connections: a parametric study [PDF]
In this paper same results are presented, related to the parametric study of the q-factor of steel moment resistant frames. The study considers semi-rigid beam-to-column joints with standard behaviour, characterized by their stiffness, resistance and ...

Graphene‐Based Wearable Textile Triboelectric Nanogenerators and Biomechanical Sensors
This study presents a wearable textile‐based triboelectric nanogenerator (T‐TENG) using sprayed graphene enhanced with a PVA adhesion layer. The graphene‐based electrode demonstrates high electrical conductivity and robustness to multiple bends. The fabricated T‐TENG provides stable and efficient output, with strong responsiveness to biomotion.

A self‐healing and electrically conductive liquid metal elastomer enables robust self‐soldering of surface mount devices for soft electronics. Photothermally activated conductive pathways, strong pressure‐sensitive adhesion, and stable package‐integrated contacts provide high conductivity and extreme stretchability.

Molecular crystals must withstand both isotropic and anisotropic stress to function in flexible optoelectronics and high‐pressure devices. In situ high‐pressure single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction coupled with DFT‐D computations reveal how an emissive molecular crystal with interdigitated packing bends elastically at ambient‐pressure and remains ...

Numerical simulation of beam-to-column joints with flange cleats
Although the effect of semi-rigid steel beam-to-column connections on the behaviour of steel frames and their substantial economic benefits are recognized nowadays, many structural analyses still consider connections as either fixed or pinned.

Outils pour l’identification des paramètres de raideur des robots à l’aide d’un logiciel de CAO [PDF]
This report proposes a CAD-based approach for identification of the elasto-static parameters of the robotic manipulators. The main contributions are in the areas of virtual experiment planning and algorithmic data processing, which allows to obtain the ...
