SVO: Fast semi-direct monocular visual odometry [PDF]
We propose a semi-direct monocular visual odometry algorithm that is precise, robust, and faster than current state-of-the-art methods. The semi-direct approach eliminates the need of costly feature extraction and robust matching techniques for motion estimation.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Semi-Degree Threshold for Anti-Directed Hamiltonian Cycles [PDF]
In 1960 Ghouila-Houri extended Dirac's theorem to directed graphs by proving that if $D$ is a directed graph on $n$ vertices with minimum out-degree and in-degree at least $n/2$, then $D$ contains a directed Hamiltonian cycle. For directed graphs one may ask for other orientations of a Hamiltonian cycle and in 1980 Grant initiated the problem of ...

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

NONUNIVERSALITY IN SEMI-DIRECTED BARABÁSI–ALBERT NETWORKS [PDF]
In usual scale-free networks of Barabási–Albert type, a newly added node selects randomly m neighbors from the already existing network nodes, proportionally to the number of links these had before. Then the number n(k) of nodes with k links each decays as 1/kγ where γ = 3 is universal, i.e. independent of m.
