Breast tumor samples scored for metabolic deregulation (M1 to M3) were given a hypoxia score (HS). The highest HS occurred in patients with strongest metabolic deregulation (M3), supporting tumor aggressiveness. HS correlated with the highest number of metabolic pathways in M1. This suggests hypoxia to be an early event in metabolic deregulation.

Risk-sensitive control as inference with Rényi divergence [PDF]
This paper introduces the risk-sensitive control as inference (RCaI) that extends CaI by using R\'{e}nyi divergence variational inference. RCaI is shown to be equivalent to log-probability regularized risk-sensitive control, which is an extension of the maximum entropy (MaxEnt) control.

Stability Improvement Method for Multi-Converter Distribution Systems Based on Impedance Sensitivity
This paper uses impedance sensitivity to identify the parameters that have dominant influences on the stability of multi-converter systems, which can then efficiently improve system stability.

This study simultaneously investigated circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and exosomes from small‐cell lung cancer (SCLC) patients. The elevated expression of JUNB and CXCR4 in CTCs was a poor prognostic factor for SCLC patients, whereas exosomal overexpression of these biomarkers revealed a high discrimination ability of patients from healthy individuals,

Risk Sensitive, Nonlinear Optimal Control: Iterative Linear Exponential-Quadratic Optimal Control with Gaussian Noise [PDF]
In this contribution, we derive ILEG, an iterative algorithm to find risk sensitive solutions to nonlinear, stochastic optimal control problems. The algorithm is based on a linear quadratic approximation of an exponential risk sensitive nonlinear control problem.

High‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) is the most common and aggressive type of ovarian cancer with urgent need for new treatment strategies. This study evaluates plasma‐activated media (PAM) as a novel treatment for HGSOC, showing its ability to selectively induce oxidative stress and apoptosis in HGSOC cell lines, patient ascites cells and primary

Vulnerability to the small molecule STF‐62247 is observed in SETD2‐inactivated VHL‐positive clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) cells. DNA damage and loss of CDC25A leads to cell cycle arrest in S phase. Cleavage of caspase‐3 (CASP3) and gasdermin E (GSDME) suggests cell death by pyroptosis.
