On the self-consistent model of the axisymmetric radio pulsar magnetosphere
We consider a model of axisymmetric neutron star magnetosphere. In our approach, the current density in the region of open field lines is constant and the returning current flows in a narrow layer along the separatrix.

This study demonstrates that in high‐alloy systems, nanoclusters with high solute tolerance can effectively suppress compositional segregation. This mitigation leads to a concurrent 18.7% increase in strength and 41.5% improvement in ductility, which is attributed to a shear‐bypass synergistic strengthening mechanism. The findings provide a new pathway

Can Coastal Rowing Be Made Safer Through Auxetics‐Inspired Personal Protective Equipment?
A survey of beach sprint coastal rowers examined perceived injury risk, attitudes towards personal protective equipment (PPE) and barriers to its use. The findings were used to guide the design of auxetic‐based PPE for this sport that is highly conforming, breathable and visually appealing. We report the results of a survey aimed at assessing how beach

Two-stage Nature of a Solar Flare with Parallel and Semicircular Ribbons
Flare ribbons with parallel and circular morphologies are typically associated with different magnetic reconnection models, and the simultaneous observation of both types in a single event remains rare. Using multiwavelength observations from a tandem of

The study evaluates mill scale‐based briquettes, which meet industrial standards for shatter strength and exhibit a low decrepitation index. Despite their limited reducibility in nonisothermal reduction experiments, softening and melting results indicate potential application as a substitute for conventional acidic iron‐bearing materials for use in ...

Minimal field requirement in precessional magnetization switching
We investigate the minimal field strength in precessional magnetization switching using the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation in under-critically damped systems.

Abstract One promising potential site for extracting supercritical geothermal fluids is the Krafla volcano, Iceland, into which a borehole was drilled very close to a shallow rhyolite magma chamber at about 2 km depth. Besides the technical challenge to drill in this setting, the extreme temperature conditions of T > 900°C close to the magma body may ...
