Gel Filtration of Surfactants on Sephadex [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan, 1968
Abstract An attempt has been made to apply gel filtration on Sephadex to micellar solutions of surfactants. The data on the gel filtration of surfactants were interpreted by taking into account the fact that there exist both micellized and unmicellized species in the solutions.

Electrophoresis on cellulose acetate and chromatography on DEAE-sephadex A-50 compared in the estimation of creatine kinase isoenzymes.

open access: yesClinical Chemistry, 1975
We have compared two methods for separating the isoenzymes of creatine kinase in serum and measuring their activity: chromatography on diethylaminoethyl-Sephadex A-50, with both continuous and discontinuous gradient elution, and electrophoresis on ...

Photo‐triggered Hyaluronic Acid Hydrogel for 3D Culture and Cell Recovery

open access: yesChemBioChem, Accepted Article.
Properties of semi‐synthetic hydrogels can be fine‐tuned making these attractive for various applications in regenerative medicine. Here, we describe a hydrogel platform based on hyaluronic acid (HA) modified by (1R,8S,9S)‐bicycle[6.1.0]non‐4‐yn‐9‐ylmethanol (BCN) and a cross‐linker composed of light sensitive o‐nitrobenzyl and polyethylene glycol (PEG)

Kinetic study of soybean pure powder lecithin hydrolysis using immobilized phospholipase A2

open access: yesGrasas y Aceites, 2001
Immobilized A2 phospholipase enzyme promotes the hydrolytic reaction of pure powder soybean lecithin releasing a mole of fatty acid from C-2 position. The main purpose of this paper was to determine the kinetic parameters of this reaction when the enzyme

Cutting‐Edge Aptasensing Approaches for Electrochemical Detection of Exosomes Utilizing MXenes

open access: yesChemElectroChem, EarlyView.
This work notably summarizes research on 2D MXenes/MXene's‐hybrid‐based nanoplatforms patterned with aptamers as an alternative to antibodies affording highly sensitive and robust biosensing of exosomes as well as their efficient isolation. The exosomes are highlighted as a valuable source of biomarkers and with the immobilization approaches of ...

Purification of rat pancreatic lipase

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1968
A procedure for the isolation of lipase (glycerolester hydrolase, EC 3.1.1.3) from rat pancreas is described. The purification scheme includes homogenization of the pancreas. centrifugation at 3,000 rpm, centrifugation at 40,000 rpm.

Chemical Synthesis and Structural Determination of the Inositol Glycan Head of Plant Sphingolipid GIPC in Brassicaceae

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The first experimental identification of the IG head structure of naturally occurring plant GIPCs in Brassicaceae was achieved through the chemical synthesis of three hexose‐type IGs containing d‐glucose, d‐galactose, or d‐mannose as the second monosaccharide linked to d‐glucuronic acid‐α(1→2)‐myo‐inositol.
