RNA binding proteins are involved in many functions, though the majority of them are composed into small RNA binding domains. The S15/NS1 RNA binding domain is a ribosomal S15 and the non-structural NS1 protein. In this study, an attempt was made to find

Profile Context-Sensitive HMMs for Probabilistic Modeling of Sequences With Complex Correlations [PDF]
The profile hidden Markov model is a specific type of HMM that is well suited for describing the common features of a set of related sequences. It has been extensively used in computational biology, where it is still one of the most popular tools.

The power of microRNA regulation—insights into immunity and metabolism
MicroRNAs are emerging as crucial regulators at the intersection of metabolism and immunity. This review examines how miRNAs coordinate glucose and lipid metabolism while simultaneously modulating T‐cell development and immune responses. Moreover, it highlights how cutting‐edge artificial intelligence applications can identify miRNA biomarkers ...

Analysis of Small RNA Sequencing Data in Plants [PDF]
AbstractOver the past decades, next-generation sequencing (NGS) has been employed extensively for investigating the regulatory mechanisms of small RNAs. Several bioinformatics tools are available for aiding biologists to extract meaningful information from enormous amounts of data generated by NGS platforms.

Complete Genome Sequence of Mulberry Vein Banding Associated Virus, a New Tospovirus Infecting Mulberry. [PDF]
Mulberry vein banding associated virus (MVBaV) that infects mulberry plants with typical vein banding symptoms had been identified as a tentative species of the genus Tospovirus based on the homology of N gene sequence to those of tospoviruses.

gRNAde: Geometric Deep Learning for 3D RNA inverse design [PDF]
Computational RNA design tasks are often posed as inverse problems, where sequences are designed based on adopting a single desired secondary structure without considering 3D conformational diversity. We introduce gRNAde, a geometric RNA design pipeline operating on 3D RNA backbones to design sequences that explicitly account for structure and dynamics.

Using a Y specific probe (pY353/B) taken from a flow sorted mouse Y chromosome library we have identified a family of RNA transcripts encoded by the Y chromosome. These transcripts which are approximately 1.3 Kb in length are present in testis PolyA+ RNA
