Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

The Semi-Difference Entire Sequence Space 𝑐𝑠∩𝑑1

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2011
Let Γ denote the space of all entire sequences. Let Λ denote the space of all analytic sequences. In this paper, we introduce a new class of sequence space, namely, the semi-difference entire sequence space 𝑐𝑠∩𝑑1. It is shown that the intersection of all

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Developing evidence‐based, cost‐effective P4 cancer medicine for driving innovation in prevention, therapeutics, patient care and reducing healthcare inequalities

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The cancer problem is increasing globally with projections up to the year 2050 showing unfavourable outcomes in terms of incidence and cancer‐related deaths. The main challenges are prevention, improved therapeutics resulting in increased cure rates and enhanced health‐related quality of life.

On r-duals of some difference sequence spaces [PDF]

open access: yesMaejo International Journal of Science and Technology, 2013
In this paper we introduce and examine some properties of the sequence spaces C(mv, ,), C(mv, ,, C(mv, ,), Cmv, , and V(mv, ,), and compute the rα-, rβ- and r-duals of the sequence spaces ℓ(v), c(v) and c0(v), and the

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.
