We give a general construction of sequential games among multiple players, as well as a construction of the composition of sequential games. We obtain new properties of the optimal class of win-by-kgames, including closure under composition and independence between the winner of the game and the number of points played.

Sequential Hypothesis Testing Game
2020 54th Annual Conference on Information Sciences and Systems (CISS), 2020In this work, we study a stopping time game problem in sequential hypothesis testing, where both of the two players perform hypothesis testing with distinct hypotheses. The payoff of the players depends on the order of stopping times. Therefore, apart from designing the decision function concerning the hypotheses, the players also determine the optimal

We study location games where market entry is costly and occurs sequentially, and where consumers are nonuniformly distributed over the unit interval. We show that for certain classes of densities, including monotone and—under some additional restrictions—hump‐shaped and U‐shaped ones, equilibrium locations can be determined independently of when they ...
