Series resistance calculations for polysilicon tunnel junction emitter transistors

open access: yes, 1989
Calculations are reported of the series resistance caused by the thin insulating layer which separates the polycrystalline and monocrystalline regions of the emitter in certain types of polysilicon emitter transistors. It is demonstrated that the series

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Investigation of CMAS resistance in the (NdSmEuGd)(1-x)/2Dy2xZr2O7 series

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology
The study examines the corrosion behavior of the (NdSmEuGd)(1-x)/2Dy2xZr2O7 series in 1300 °C molten salt CMAS, demonstrating that the dense layer formed by ZrO2 and apatite could effectively inhibit the penetration of CMAS.

Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) in a Patient With Compound Heterozygous OPA1 Variants: Case Report and Literature Review

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Pro-active Management of Beet Armyworm (Spodoptera exigua) Resistance to IGRs, Tebufenozide and Methoxyfenozide

open access: yes, 2000
Susceptibility to tebufenozide and methoxyfenozide of beet armyworm (Spodoptera exigua) from the southern United States and Thailand was determined through exposure of first and third instar larvae to dipped cotton leaves.

Considering the Distributed Series Resistance in a Two-diode Model

open access: yes, 2013
The interpretation of the global current-voltage (I-V) characteristic of solar cells is usually based on the two-diode model, which regards a homogeneous current flow.
