Serum samples from 57 Turkish patients with Behçet's syndrome (BS) were analysed for C-reactive protein, histidine, total sulphydryl concentration and gamma glutamyl transpeptidase. Clinical subgroups did not exhibit biochemical differences, including BS with and without arthritis.
