Risk Factors and Predictive Models for Sarcopenia in Older Adults
Independent risk factors for sarcopenia identified by Lasso regression and logistic regression in the study were BMI, prealbumin, albumin/globulin ratio (A/G ratio), serum creatinine, and phosphorus. These factors were used to construct a nomogram model and a decision tree model. Both models showed effectiveness in predicting sarcopenia in older adults,

ANTIDIPHTHERITIC SERUM AND ANTIDIPHTHERITIC GLOBULIN SOLUTIONS [PDF]
Until recently the only means we had of giving diphtheria antitoxin was in the whole serum of the horse in which it had originated. The accumulated knowledge obtained in the investigations of a number of workers allowed the development of a practical method for eliminating a portion of the non-antitoxic serum substances while retaining the antitoxin ...

Binding of bromocresol green and bromocresol purple to albumin in hemodialysis patients [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Colorimetric albumin assays based on binding to bromocresol purple (BCP) and bromocresol green (BCG) yield different results in chronic kidney disease. Altered dye binding of carbamylated albumin has been suggested as a cause.

Expert Perspectives on a Clinical Challenge: Hematologic Malignancies and Vasculitis
Systemic vasculitis describes a collection of rare diseases each caused by inflammation of blood vessel walls that can cause severe systemic complications [[3, 4]](#ref‐0003). The pattern of vascular inflammation and resultant damage is frequently variable and may be mimicked, or directly triggered, by infection or malignancy.
