Analysis Of Unreliable Multi-Server Queueing System With Breakdowns Spread And Quarantine
We consider an unreliable multi-server queue in which the rate of servers' breakdowns increases when the number of broken servers grows. To prevent quick degradation of the system, it is proposed to switch to a quarantine regime when the number of broken servers exceeds some threshold and to maintain this regime until the number of broken servers ...

Copper‐based composites enhanced with carbon feature convenient mechanical properties and favorable electric conductivity. Processing via deformation and thermomechanical treatments can introduce advantageous microstructures further enhancing their performance. Herein, copper–graphene powder‐based composites are directly consolidated via rotary swaging

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Microstructure Evolution of a VMnFeCoNi High‐Entropy Alloy After Synthesis, Swaging, and Annealing
The synthesis and processing (rotary swaging and annealing) of the novel VMnFeCoNi alloy is investigated, alongside the estimation of the grain size effect on hardness. Analysis of a wide grain size range of recrystallized microstructures (12–210 µm) reveals a low annealing twin density.

Hydrogen‐Assisted Fracture of Iron‐Based Fe–Ni–Al Alloys
Principal relations and fracture mechanisms of single‐phase and precipitate‐strengthened Fe–Ni–Al alloys subjected to prior electrochemical hydrogen charging are identified. The mechanisms of hydrogen effect on strength and microhardness are discussed, including hydrogen‐induced increase in microhardness and the role of hydrogen in fracture behavior ...

Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

The k-out-of-n:G System Viewed as a Multi-Server Queue
This paper extends the k-out-of-n:G reliability system to a multi-server queue. We study a multi-server reliability-queuing model with the N-policy of repair.

Maximum Entropy Solution for M^X/G/1 Priority Reiterate G-queue Under Working Breakdown and Working Vacation [PDF]
The maximum entropy principle has grown progressively more pertinent to queueing systems. The principle of maximum entropy (PME) presents an impartial framework as a promising method to examine complex queuing processes. This principle can be employed to
