Reliable Scientific Service Compositions [PDF]
Distributed service oriented architectures (SOAs) are increasingly used by users, who are insufficiently skilled in the art of distributed system programming. A good example are computational scientists who build large-scale distributed systems using service-oriented Grid computing infrastructures.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

QoS aware evaluation model supporting service correlation in manufacturing cloud service composition
In order to select better quality of manufacturing cloud services that meet the demand of manufacture to complete manufacturing tasks in coordination, a QoS aware evaluation model supporting service correlation was proposed based on interface correlation,

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

Initial Understanding and Practice of Network Services and Compositions
The current internet is simple in its fundamental interconnecting capability and is inflexible in its protocol architecture.Such a situation makes internet unable to well handle the variety of network applications' demands.Fortunately,a noval approach of

Validation of web service compositions
Web services support software architectures that can evolve dynamically. In particular, in this paper the focus is on architectures where services are composed (orchestrated) through a workflow described in the business process execution language (BPEL).

Security Issues in Service Composition [PDF]
We use a distributed, enriched λ-calculus for describing networks of services. Both services and their clients can protect themselves, by imposing security constraints on each other's behaviour. Then, service interaction results in a call-by-property mechanism, that matches the client requests with service's.
