RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...

− In this paper, we introduce the concept of set-valued homomorphism of a lattice which isthe generalization of ordinary lattice homomorphism. We construct generalized rough lower and upperapproximations operators, by means of a set-valued mapping, which

ATP13A2 is involved in intracellular polyamine transport in lung epithelial cells
Spermidine transport in lung epithelial cells involves the polyamine transporter ATP13A2. Cell proliferation is associated with the upregulation of ATP13A2. Polyamines are present in all living cells and are implicated in various crucial cellular processes such as proliferation, apoptosis and autophagy.

Weak Asymptotic Stabilizability of Discrete-Time Systems Given by Set-Valued Operators
Let \(T\) be a convex process in a Banach space \(X\) (i.e. \(T\) is a multioperator whose graph is a closed convex cone). A discrete inclusion \[ x(k+1)\in T(x(k)), \qquad k=0,1,\dots \] is said to be weakly asymptotically stabilizable if for every \(x_0\in X\) there is a solution \(x(k)\) such that \(x(0)=x_0\) and \(x(k)\to0\) as \(k\to\infty\). Clinical analysis reveals significant dysregulation of FGFRL1 in esophageal cancer (EC) patients. RNAi‐coupled next‐generation sequencing (NGS) and in vitro study reveal FGFRL1‐mediated EC progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and Notch pathways. Functional assays confirm its role in tumor growth, migration, and invasion.

We investigated the toxicity of 12 active compounds commonly found in herbal weight loss supplements (WLS) using human liver and colon cell models. Epigallocatechin‐3‐gallate was the only compound showing significant toxicity. Metabolic profiling revealed protein degradation, disrupted energy and lipid metabolism suggesting that the inclusion of EGCG ...

Metric Approximation of Set-Valued Functions of Bounded Variation by Integral Operators
Abstract We introduce an adaptation of integral approximation operators to set-valued functions (SVFs, multifunctions), mapping a compact interval [a, b] into the space of compact non-empty subsets of $${\mathbb {R}}^d$$ R
