CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

BUILDING SHADOW DETECTION FROM GHOST IMAGERY [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Shadow is one of the basic features of remote sensing image, it expresses a lot of information of the object which is loss or interference, and the removal of shadow is always a difficult problem to remote sensing image processing.

A Moving Shadow Elimination Method Based on Fusion of Multi-Feature

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Moving shadow elimination plays an important role in the field of moving object detection. However, the accuracy of shadow elimination is an open question, due to illumination and complex texture.

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Fast and Efficient Shadow Detection Algorithm via Shadow Decoupling and Reparameterization

open access: yes工程科学与技术
Since the number of pixels along shadow boundaries is often significantly smaller than that of pixles within shadow regions, accurately detecting shadow boundary areas is more challenging than detecting pixels within the shadow interior.

An Enhanced Segmentation on Vision-based Shadow Removal for Vehicle Detection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
[[abstract]]We present an enhanced segmentation method to reduce the interference of shadows for vehicle detection. The main advantage of the proposed method is its low-complexity.

Airborne-Shadow: Towards Fine-Grained Shadow Detection in Aerial Imagery [PDF]

open access: yes
Shadow detection is the first step in the process of shadow removal, which improves the understanding of complex urban scenes in aerial imagery for applications such as autonomous driving, infrastructure monitoring, and mapping.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

A Mixed Property-Based Automatic Shadow Detection Approach for VHR Multispectral Remote Sensing Images

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2018
Shadows in very high-resolution multispectral remote sensing images hinder many applications, such as change detection, target recognition, and image classification.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...
