Fusion of Multi-Baseline and Multi-Orbit InSAR DEMs with Terrain Feature-Guided Filter

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2018
Interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) is an effective technology for generating high-precision digital elevation models (DEMs). However, the vertical accuracy of InSAR DEMs is limited by the contradiction between height measurement sensitivity

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Robust Foreground Detection: A Fusion of Masked GreyWorld, Probabilistic Gradient Information and Extended Conditional Random Field Approach

open access: yesSensors, 2012
Foreground detection has been used extensively in many applications such as people counting, traffic monitoring and face recognition. However, most of the existing detectors can only work under limited conditions. This happens because of the inability of

An Enhanced Modified Multiport Interleaved Flyback Converter for Photovoltaic-Shunt Active Power Filter (PV-SHAPF) Applications

open access: yesInternational Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems, 2022
This paper presents a newly designed modified multiport interleaved flyback converter (MMPIFC) to transfer the photovoltaic (PV) power to the DC bus of the parallel-connected multilevel inverter-based shunt active power filter (SHAPF).

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Penumbra Shadow Representation in Photovoltaics: Comparing Dynamic and Constant Intensity

open access: yesApplied Sciences
This study is the first to directly compare natural dynamic penumbra shadows with experimentally replicated constant-intensity shadows on photovoltaic modules, providing new insights into the limitations of conventional shadow approximations found in the

JWST observations of stellar occultations by solar system bodies and rings

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper we investigate the opportunities provided by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) for significant scientific advances in the study of solar system bodies and rings using stellar occultations.

Shadow Honeypots [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We present Shadow Honeypots, a novel hybrid architecture that combines the best features of honeypots and anomaly detection. At a high level, we use a variety of anomaly detectors to monitor all traffic to a protected network or service.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...
