Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

In the shadow of shadow banking: A liquidity perspective
Liquidity requirements for commercial banks improve risk‐sharing for depositors. Nevertheless, shadow banks, issuing securities with lower liquidity, operate outside such regulatory constraints. In an economy featuring shadow banks with a constant level of liquidity for shadow bank securities, higher liquidity requirements lead to a reduction in ...

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Real-time neural soft shadow synthesis from hard shadows
Soft shadows play a crucial role in enhancing visual realism in real-time rendering. Although traditional shadow mapping techniques offer high efficiency, they often suffer from artifacts and limited quality.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Shadows Remain Segmented as Selectable Regions in Object-based Attention Paradigms
It is unclear how shadows are processed in the visual system. Whilst shadows are clearly used as an important cue to localise the objects that cast them, there is mixed evidence regarding the extent to which shadows influence the recognition of those ...

dUTPases are involved in balancing the appropriate nucleotide pools. We showed that dUTPase is essential for normal development in zebrafish. The different zebrafish genomes contain several single‐nucleotide variations (SNPs) of the dut gene. One of the dUTPase variants displayed drastically lower protein stability and catalytic efficiency as compared ...

Very high-resolution (VHR) optical satellite imagery offers significant potential for detailed land cover mapping. However, terrain shadows, which appear dark and lack texture and detail, are especially acute at low solar elevations. These shadows hinder
