Mechanism study on the interaction effects of shaking table array-test structure
To study the interaction mechanism of shaking table-test structure in shaking table test, an analytical model of shaking table array-test structure was established. Based on the analytical model, the influence of structure damping, frequency, and shaking

Shake table tests of an industrial building
Shake table tests are conducted on a scaled frame model of an industrial building, which has irregular story heights, different beam span lengths, and uneven weight distribution. Its elastic and inelastic responses are observed under simulated earthquakes.

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Centrifuge modeling of rocking-isolated inelastic RC bridge piers [PDF]
Experimental proof is provided of an unconventional seismic design concept, which is based on deliberately underdesigning shallow foundations to promote intense rocking oscillations and thereby to dramatically improve the seismic resilience of structures.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Benefication of low-grade chromite ores of abandoned mine at Topraktepe, Beyşehir, SW Turkey [PDF]
Optimum enriching possibilities of chromite ores from the abandoned Topraktepe mine were investigated. To obtain the best enriching method(s), shaking table, multi gravity separator, humprey spiral and jigging tests were tested. The best grades for Cr2O3

Resonance Suppression for Hydraulic Servo Shaking Table Based on Adaptive Notch Filter
In dynamic structure test, the specimen of hydraulic servo shaking table contains not only inertia load but also elastic load. The specimen herein is simplified as a spring-mass-damping system, and the mathematical model of the hydraulic servo shaking ...
