Modeling of transpiration reduction in van Genuchten-Mualem type soils [PDF]
We derive an analytic expression for the matric flux potential (M) for van Genuchten-Mualem (VGM) type soils which can also be written in terms of a converging infinite series.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Generalized ( p , q ) $(p,q)$ -Bleimann-Butzer-Hahn operators and some approximation results
The aim of this paper is to introduce a new generalization of Bleimann-Butzer-Hahn operators by using ( p , q ) $(p,q)$ -integers which is based on a continuously differentiable function μ on [ 0 , ∞ ) = R + $[0,\infty)=\mathbb{R}_{+}$ . We establish the

Soft volume simulation using a deformable surface model [PDF]
The aim of the research is to contribute to the modelling of deformable objects, such as soft tissues in medical simulation. Interactive simulation for medical training is a concept undergoing rapid growth as the underlying technologies support the ...
