Shear strength of T-type Perfobond rib shear connectors
In this research, a T-type Perfobond rib shear connector for steel concrete composite bridges is suggested, and a series of push-out tests are performed with numerous parameters, such as length and thickness of the ribs, diameter and number of the holes in the ribs, number of transversal reinforcing steel bars, and strength of concrete.

It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...

Carbon nanomaterial‐reinforced epoxy composites exhibit pronounced piezoresistive behavior, enabling intrinsic damage sensing under cyclic and fatigue loading. This review critically compares carbon nanotube and graphene systems, correlating filler content, percolation threshold, and gauge factor with sensing stability and damage evolution.

Performance of angle shear connectors for U-shaped steel concrete infilled composite beams
The current design codes i.e. AISC 360-16, CSA-S16-19, EC-04 etc. provide empirical relationships to estimate the capacity of shear connectors which were developed based on pushout tests of headed studs and channels connectors in exposed type sections ...

Shear Behavior of Superposed Perfobond Connectors Considering Lateral Constraints
Superposed perfobond connectors are a type of connector used in composite structures. When the construction conditions are limited to increase the diameter of the opening, the shear capacity of the connector can be improved by enhancing the confining ...
