A Robotic Testing Platform for Pipelined Discovery of Resilient Dielectric Elastomer Actuators

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces a robotic testing platform enabling high‐throughput, multi‐parameter lifetime mapping of linear dielectric elastomer actuators (DEAs). By integrating programmable high‐voltage control and automated electromechanical measurements, the system identifies material and operating conditions that double actuator lifetime.

Repurposing a Small Molecule Plant Hormone as a Tunable ON‐Switch for CAR‐T Cell Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By engineering a receptor system integrating the plant auxin receptor AFB1 with its co‐receptor IAA7, we enable ligand‐dependent interactions triggered by the plant hormone auxins. This design allows rapid, reversible, and dose‐dependent T cell activation, resulting in potent cytotoxicity against B‐cell lymphoma in vitro and in vivo.

Engineering Large‐Grain Metal Halide Perovskite Films via Chemical Vapor Deposition for High‐Performance, Ultralow‐Noise Perovskite Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chemical vapor deposition produces large‐grain, phase‐pure CsPbBr3 films (grains up to 35 µm) with Drude‐like terahertz photoconductivity and twofold higher carrier mobility versus spin‐coated references. These microstructural advances translate into photodetectors with a detectivity of 8.4 × 1012 Jones, dark current below 1 pA cm−2, X‐ray sensitivity ...

The skeletal carbonate contribution to mixed terrigenous-carbonate sediments on the temperate northeastern Northland continental shelf, New Zealand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The northeastern Northland continental shelf (NNCS) includes the coastal, shelf and uppermost slope seafloor out to depths of 210 m and over a distance of 150 km between North Cape and Ngurauru Bay slightly north of Whangarei. The nature of the surficial

Protease‐Triggered Chromogenic Release From Peptide‐Modified Calcium Carbonate Microspheres Enables Colorimetric Detection of Porphyromonas gingivalis Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a chromogenic release‐based assay system with protease‐cleavage peptide‐modified calcium carbonate microspheres for colorimetric detection of Porphyromonas (P.) gingivalis activity. In response to Arg‐specific gingipain secreted by P. gingivalis, the supernatant becomes colored, enabling colorimetric analysis and providing the monitoring of ...

Recapitulating In Vivo Pharmacokinetics and Size‐Dependent Nanomedicine Delivery in a Microfluidic Platform

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A microfluidic tumor platform integrates pharmacokinetic flow control, vascular‐like barriers, and 3D tumor spheroids to emulate in vivo drug exposure. The system reproduces dynamic concentration–time profiles and enables size‐dependent nanoparticle transport and efficacy evaluation, providing a predictive framework for assessing nanomedicine ...

Evaluation of Antioxidant Activity and Optimization of Cookie Shelf Life Prediction with Durian Peel Flour Substitution

open access: yesAgriHealth
Antioxidants are essential elements in scavenging free radicals and are found in many foods. Incorporating fiber-rich durian inner skin flour into cookies not only boosts the fiber content but also introduces antioxidant compounds, which may influence ...

Engineering Antibodies into Targeted Chimeras: From Recognition Modules to Programmable Degraders

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Antibody can be engineered into diverse lysosome‐targeting chimeras that convert target recognition into active degradation. By coupling antibody binding with recruited receptors, encoded domains, conjugated ligands, or nanoparticle scaffolds, these antibody‐associated targeted chimeras (AbTACs) platforms direct extracellular and membrane proteins ...
