On the Directionality of the Balkan Turkic Verb Phrase: Variationist and Theoretical Perspectives

open access: yesLanguages, 2022
Balkan varieties of Turkic, particularly those on the periphery of the Turkic spread area in the region, such as Gagauz and West Rumelian Turkish, are commonly observed to have head-initial verb phrases. Based on a wide survey, this paper attempts a more

Low-energy pion-nucleon scattering and the Δ resonance in lattice QCD [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2020
We report on our investigation of low-energy pion-nucleon scattering from lattice QCD with Wilson type fermions. Our focus is on the isospin I = 3/2 channel, which couples to the Delta resonance.

Computability of topological pressure on compact shift spaces beyond finite type [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinearity, 2020
We investigate the computability (in the sense of computable analysis) of the topological pressure P top(ϕ) on compact shift spaces X for continuous potentials ϕ:X→R .

To some structural properties of ∞ - languages

open access: yesRatio Mathematica, 2022
Properties of catenation of sequences of finite (words) and infinite (  lengths are largely studied in formal language theory. These operations are derived from the mechanism how they are accepted or generated by the corresponding devices.

The zeta function of a periodic-finite-type shift [PDF]

open access: yes2009 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2009
The class of periodic-finite-type shifts (PFT's) is a class of sofic shifts that strictly includes the class of shifts of finite type (SFT's), and the zeta function of a PFT is a generating function for the number of periodic sequences in the shift. In this paper, we derive a useful formula for the zeta function of a PFT.

Ring and module structures on dimension groups associated with a shift of finite type [PDF]

open access: yesErgodic Theory and Dynamical Systems, 2011
We study invariants for shifts of finite type obtained as the K-theory of various C*-algebras associated with them. These invariants have been studied intensively over the past thirty years since their introduction by Wolfgang Krieger.

Conservative Finite-Difference Scheme for 1D Ginzburg–Landau Equation

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
In this study, our attention is focused on deriving integrals of motion (conservation laws; invariants) for the problem of an optical pulse propagation in an optical fiber containing an optical amplifier or attenuator because, to date, such invariants ...

Interior Schauder-Type Estimates for Higher-Order Elliptic Operators in Grand-Sobolev Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2021
In this paper  an elliptic operator of the $m$-th order  $L$ with continuous coefficients in the $n$-dimensional domain $\Omega \subset R^{n} $ in the non-standard Grand-Sobolev space $W_{q)}^{m} \left(\Omega \right)\, $ generated by the norm $\left\| \,

Characterizations of entire solutions for the system of Fermat-type binomial and trinomial shift equations in ℂn#

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2023
In this article, we investigate the existence and the precise form of finite-order transcendental entire solutions of some system of Fermat-type quadratic binomial and trinomial shift equations in Cn{{\mathbb{C}}}^{n}. Our results are the generalizations
