A quantitative harmonics analysis approach for sinusoidal pulse‐width‐modulation based Z‐source inverters

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2022
The shoot‐through (ST) states are essential for the operation of sinusoidal pulse‐width‐modulation (SPWM) based Z‐source inverters. However, the insertion of shoot‐through state unavoidably leads to output harmonics which is greatly affected by its ...

MODIFIED CAPACITOR ASSISTED EXTENDED BOOST QUASI Z-SOURCE INVERTER FOR THE GRID-CONNECTED PV SYSTEM

open access: yesInternational Islamic University Malaysia Engineering Journal, 2019
A grid-tied, single stage, three phase, PV system provides higher efficiency than a two-stage PV system. This paper presents a three-phase, single stage, grid-connected PV system with MPPT and reactive power injection capability into the grid using ...

Structure and properties of nanostructured ZrN coatings obtained by vacuum-arc evaporation using RF discharge [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Nanostructured films of zirconium nitride have been synthesized using an ion plasma vacuum-arc deposition technique in combination with a high-frequency (RF) discharge on AISI 430 stainless steel at 150 °C. Structural examination using X-ray fluorescence

Low shoot-through, high frequency CMOS driver forpowercontrol applications

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1997
The issue of ‘shoot-through’ power dissipation is addressed and a pyramidal timing scheme is reported which reduces shoot-through power dissipation significantly. Measurements show reduction by a factor of 7 in the peak shoot-through power compared with a conventional driver.

Transport through quasi-ballistic quantum wires: the role of contacts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We model one-dimensional transport through each open channel of a quantum wire by a Luttinger liquid with three different interaction parameters for the leads, the contact regions and the wire, and with two barriers at the contacts.
