Exploration of Saint-Venant’s Principle in inertial high strain rate testing of materials
Current high strain rate testing procedures of materials are limited by poor instrumentation which leads to the requirement for stringent assumptions to enable data processing and constitutive model identification.

Importance of the model selection for processing dynamic three-point bending tests [PDF]
International audienceThe Split-Hopkinson Pressure Bar apparatus remains the standard test to investigate high strain rate materials properties. To determine the tensile strength of quasi-brittle materials three-point bending tests are frequently ...

Experimental study on granite and the determination of its true strain-rate effect
To accurately determine the true strain-rate effect of granite in split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) tests, systematic experimental studies from quasi-static to dynamic loading on the same batch of granite samples is required.

Correlations between cancellous bone architecture and its dynamic behaviour [PDF]
Previous studies showed that in vivo evaluation of the fracture risk of cancellous bone can be assessed by identifying the relationships between its microarchitecture description extracted from clinical imaging and its mechanical properties.

Numerično modeliranje in validacija shpb preizkuševališča
