Performance Constraints of All‐Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells in Low‐Intensity, Low‐Temperature Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
All‐perovskite tandem solar cells are evaluated under low‐intensity and low‐temperature (LILT) conditions relevant to space environments. Distinct loss regimes emerge, where weaker entropic mixing causes halide segragation below ≈240 K going along with a strong current imbalance, while poor electron transport in C60 dominates.

Simulation of a single-phase active power filter based ANN controller [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This project presents the employment of a single-phase active power filter (APF) to compensate harmonics generated by battery charger. The presence of the harmonics leads to various problems and poor power quality.

Beyond Earth: Resilience of Quasi‐2D Perovskite Solar Cells in Space

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In the article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202520433), Christoph Putz and co‐workers demonstrate rigid quasi‐2D perovskite solar cells operating in low Earth orbit, delivering stable power for more than 100 days under real‐space conditions. In‐orbit performance is correlated with extensive ground‐based thermal and proton‐irradiation studies on rigid and ...

A New Soft-Switched Three-Phase Four-Wire Shunt Active Power Filter [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Procedures in Electrical Technology, 2010
This paper presents a new soft switched topology for losses reduction in a three-phase four-wire shunt active power filter (SAPF). The soft-switching technique not only offers a reduction in switching loss and thermal requirement, but also allows the ...
