Self-assembly in solution of a reversible comb-shaped supramolecular polymer [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We report a single step synthesis of a polyisobutene with a bis-urea moiety in the middle of the chain. In low polarity solvents, this polymer self-assembles by hydrogen bonding to form a combshaped polymer with a central hydrogen bonded backbone and ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

CD36‐Binding Amphiphilic Nanoparticles for Attenuation of α‐Synuclein‐Induced Microglial Activation

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, 2022
Neuroinflammation is one of the hallmarks contributing to Parkinson's disease (PD) pathology, where microglial activation occurs as one of the earliest events, triggered by extracellular α‐synuclein (aSYN) binding to the cluster of differentation 36 ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Enhanced hydroxide conductivity in zwitterionic polyacrylate-based anion exchange membranes via side-chain length optimization

open access: yesGreen Energy & Environment
Developing advanced ion-conductive networks is crucial for anion exchange membranes (AEMs). A flexible molecular structure facilitates the formation of ion clusters, resulting in enhanced ionic conductivity.

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Procurement push and marketing pull in supply chain management: the conceptual contribution of relationship marketing as a driver in project financial performance [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
? The agenda for supply management practices on construction projects originated from clients. It is largely procurement driven, the dominant strategy of contractors being to emulate the client approach, and hence push the procurement model along the ...
