Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Sign changing solutions of nonlinear elliptic equations
The paper is concerned with the nonlinear elliptic problem \[ \text{div} (a_\varepsilon(x)Du)+ g(x,u)=0, \quad u^+\not\equiv 0,\;u^-\not\equiv 0\quad\text{ in }\Omega\qquad\text{and}\quad u=0\text{ on }\partial\Omega, \leqno (P_\varepsilon) \] where \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^N\) with \(N\geq 1\), \(a_\varepsilon(x)= (a_\varepsilon^{

In this article, we study the second-order three-point boundary-value problem $$displaylines{ u''(t)+a(t)u'(t)+f(t,u)=0,quad 0 leq t leq 1, cr u'(0)=0,quad u(1)=alpha u(eta), }$$ where $0<alpha$, $eta<1$, $ain C([0,1],(-infty, 0))$ and $f$ is

Global structure of sign-changing solutions for discrete Dirichlet problems
Let T>1T\gt 1 be an integer, T≔[1,T]Z={1,2,…,T},Tˆ≔{0,1,…,T+1}{\mathbb{T}}:= {{[}1,T]}_{{\mathbb{Z}}}=\{1,2,\ldots ,T\},\hspace{.0em}\hat{{\mathbb{T}}}:= \{0,1,\ldots ,T+1\}.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

On sign-changing solutions for nonlinear operator equations
In the paper, the existence of sign-changing solutions for nonlinear operator equations in ordered Banach spaces is discussed by using the topological degree and fixed point index theory. The authors obtain some new three-solution theorems for fixed point equations of increasing operators and for general operators.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...
