A new demodulation procedure for a class of multiplexed signals [PDF]
This paper introduces a set of estimators for a wide class of multiplexed signal. The signals of interest are decomposed on independent periodic signals with a shared frequency. This latter set of signals is as general as possible; that is, not necessarily orthogonal or sinusoidal.

This paper presents an agar medium with a phosphorescent grid pattern that measures the stress distribution generated by growing plant roots. Using phosphorescence, the system optically separates the grid pattern from the root and extracts the grid deformation.

Multidirectional Motion Strategy of Miniature Water Surface Robot Actuated by Single Exciter
A novel multidirectional motion strategy on the water surface based on a single exciter is proposed, and a single‐exciter single‐plate module is developed for actuation. The driving forces generation mechanism of the module is revealed from the perspective of the asymmetric surface wave field.

Fibre segment interferometry using code-division multiplexed optical signal processing for strain sensing applications [PDF]
A novel optical signal processing scheme for multiplexing fibre segment interferometers is proposed. The continuous-wave, homodyne technique combines code-division multiplexing with single-sideband modulation.

2FSK Communication System Demodulation Algorithm for Novel Acoustically Excited SLF Antennas
There exist some problems for acoustically excited super low frequency(SLF) antennas, such as low transmission power and low received signal-to-noise ratio. In addition, it is difficult to design a narrow-band filter in traditional binary frequency-shift

Design and numerical simulation of the real-time particle charge and size analyser [PDF]
The electrostatic charge and size distribution of aerosol particles play a very important role in many industrial applications. Due to the complexity and the probabilistic nature of the different charging mechanisms often acting simultaneously, it is ...

Disorder‐Induced Extremely Low Thermal Conductivity of Graphite Fluoride
This article investigates the effect of fluorination on the thermal conductivity of graphite fluoride, demonstrating the relationship between structural modification and thermal conductivity in an extreme case. The record‐low through‐plane thermal conductivity measured in exfoliated graphite fluoride flakes was found to correlate with the wide ...

Complex demodulation and double demodulation [PDF]
A method to complex demodulate signals with amplitude and phase slowly varying with time is proposed. In a first step, classic demodulation is applied that provides a good approximation of the phase sequence and a fair approximation of the amplitude ...

mGluR5 in ECCCK to BLA Circuit Modulates Depressive‐Like Phenotypes through CCK Signaling
Dysregulation of mGluR5 and CCK signaling contributes to major depressive disorder, yet circuit‐level mechanisms remain unclear. Here, the ECCCK→BLA pathway is identified as a critical regulator of affective behavior. mGluR5 modulates synaptic function and CCK signaling within this circuit, controlling stress susceptibility and depressive‐like states ...
