Quantum Photothermal Self‐Monitoring Fiber Probes for In Vivo Photothermal Therapy
A miniaturized quantum photothermal fiber probe based on a metal/polymer/glass composite optoelectronic fiber that simultaneously guides lightwave and microwave was developed for the first time. The probe achieves enhanced photothermal conversion (13°C/mW, 25°C–120°C range) while providing real‐time self‐monitoring with 0.2°C thermal resolution at the ...

A Fitted empirical demodulation for low frequency electrical signal evaluation [PDF]
Empirical Demodulation (ED) is a technique used to build a discrete signal, called an empirical envelope, from a modulated time sequence. For example, in three-phase induction motors, this envelope can carry fault frequency data that allows the machine ...

A novel quasi‐FM demodulator as AM demodulator for amplitude limited signals
Abstract This paper investigates the changes in the waveform of a sinusoidal carrier resulting from amplitude modulation (AM) process. Based on this analysis, a novel method for extracting amplitude information is proposed. The proposed method uses the behaviour of the amplitude limitation which does not significantly affect the slope

Electromagnetic Radiation Stimulated Learning in Perovskite Nickelates
ABSTRACT Biological plasticity refers to the ability of synapses to strengthen or weaken over time. These adaptive properties play a fundamental role in learning and memory, spanning many orders of magnitude in timescales. Short‐term plasticity (STP) arises from rapid correlative activity, while long‐term plasticity (LTP) is governed by slower ...

Multirate Frequency Transformations: Wideband AM-FM Demodulation with Applications to Signal Processing and Communications [PDF]
The AM-FM (amplitude & frequency modulation) signal model finds numerous applications in image processing, communications, and speech processing. The traditional approaches towards demodulation of signals in this category are the analytic signal approach,

Optical Windows for Transcranial Brain Imaging in Living Mice: Skull Thinning, Clearing, and Beyond
Longitudinal, noninvasive in vivo imaging is crucial for studying brain physiology. Advances in transcranial optical windows and multiphoton microscopy have improved imaging depth, but their performance often deteriorates over time. This work investigated various transcranial window approaches and found that skull regrowth limits image quality.

Cartilage injury promotes local fibrinogen deposition, which accelerates monosodium urate crystallization and activates integrin‐mediated matrix‐degradation. This self‐amplifying cycle drives gout‐related cartilage erosion. Disrupting fibrinogen deposition or restoring the cartilage barrier could interrupt this vicious cycle.
