Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

KNOWLEDGE BASED TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROL MODEL FOR SIGNALIZED INTERSECTION
Intelligent transportation systems have received increasing attention in academy and industry. Being able to handle uncertainties and complexity, expert systems are applied in vast areas of real life including intelligent transportation systems. This paper presents a traffic signal control method based on expert knowledge for an isolated signalized ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Conversion of Large Unsignalized Roundabout in Baghdad City to Signalized Intersection
Rapid population growth in Iraq has influenced all aspects of life, including transportation networks. The substantial population growth immediately coincides with an increase in the number of vehicles using the traffic networks.

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Intersection safety has been traditionally evaluated using three to five years of crash data. Recent literature suggests that connected vehicle (CV)-derived hard braking (HB) events can provide a surrogate for crashes with only a few weeks or months of ...

CROSSING SPEEDS OF CARS THROUGH SIGNALIZED INTERSECTIONS
The article deals with the problem of traffic in three traffic-light intersections in the street network of Iasi city. Usually, the existing traffic lights do not fully take into account the size, structure and parameters of the queue of vehicles waiting at intersections; which in turn affects the traffic capacity of the intersection.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Accident Rates at Signalized Intersections
Abstract Signalized intersections remain among the most common elements of street and road networks and types of traffic control. This is due to the fact that traffic safety at controlled intersections largely determines road safety in cities in general.
