Cancer cell‐intrinsic type 1 interferon: production, signaling, and outcomes within sex‐biased, female malignancies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The cell‐autonomous roles of interferon type 1 vary based on duration and intensity. While acute, robust signaling results in cancer cell cytotoxic effects, sustained, low‐level signaling is associated with tumor‐promoting effects. This review summarizes current research of IFN‐1 in cancer and within the clinical setting, with an emphasis on female ...

Evaluating and Improving the Efficiency of Intersection of Freeway Off-Ramps with Arterial Roadway [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering and Technology Journal, 2013
The signalized intersections are considering one of the critical elements in facility work of urban arterial roads. Thus, it is necessary to improve the signalized intersections system not only to increase the ability of flow on the major and minor roads

ADP‐ribosylation: An emerging regulator of the epigenome

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
ADP‐ribosylation has emerged as a dynamic epigenetic signaling mechanism that modifies histones and chromatin‐associated proteins. Through coordinated PARylation and MARylation, it integrates with other histone modifications to regulate chromatin structure, transcription factor activity, and gene expression, influencing genome function and disease ...

Refinement of amino‐acid conformation vs. difference density maps in time‐resolved serial femtosecond crystallography data analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

Hierarchical cooperative eco‐driving control for connected autonomous vehicle platoon at signalized intersections

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, 2023
Vehicles in the platoon can sufficiently incorporate the information via V2X communication to plan ecological speed trajectories and pass the intersection smoothly. Most existing eco‐driving studies mainly focus on the optimal control of a single vehicle

A Feasibility Analysis at Signal-Free Intersections

open access: yesIEEE Control Systems Letters
In this letter, we address the problem of improving the feasible domain of the solution of a decentralized control framework for coordinating connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) at signal-free intersections as the traffic volume increases. The framework provides the optimal trajectories of CAVs to cross the intersection safely without stop-and-go ...

Effects of IGFBP4 deficiency on human preadipocyte proliferation and differentiation through the IGF1R/AKT pathway

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. The mechanisms by which IGFBP4 KD influences the IGF1R/AKT signaling pathway involve newly synthesized proteins and lysosomal degradation pathways. Created in BioRender.
