Favipiravir (T‐705) and the non‐fluorinated counterpart (T‐1106) are antiviral agents that inhibit the RNA‐dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) of various RNA viruses. The antiviral efficacy of nucleoside analogues is strongly dependent on their intracellular activation by cellular kinases to produce their corresponding triphosphate metabolites (T‐705‐RTP ...

Asymptotic properties of cross‐classified sampling designs
Abstract We investigate the family of cross‐classified sampling designs across an arbitrary number of dimensions. We introduce a variance decomposition that enables the derivation of general asymptotic properties for these designs and the development of straightforward and asymptotically unbiased variance estimators.

Nonlinear permuted Granger causality
Abstract Granger causality is an established, contentious method that seeks causal temporal connections via association and precedence. While not true causal inference, it assists in mapping networks of information flow that may warrant further study.

NMDAR‐antibody encephalitis: Seizure semiology and EEG findings
Abstract Background N‐methyl‐D‐aspartate receptor antibody encephalitis (NMDAR‐Ab‐E) is an autoantibody‐mediated disorder, characterized by acute development of neuropsychiatric symptoms, seizures, movement disorders, and autonomic instability. Objectives To describe acute seizure semiology and electroencephalogram (EEG) findings in patients with a ...

Optimizing Tofu Production with Contextual Learning and Linear Programming
The study of contextual learning implementation introduces mathematical concepts by linking the material with real-life situations or contexts in Rancamulya Village, West Java, commonly known as Tofu Village, where tofu is a staple food and an affordable

A New Variant of Simplex Method
In this paper a new variant of simplex method is proposed to solve a class of linear programming problem having all constraints ≥ type. In the proposed method, instead of using artificial basis techniques we start with infeasible solution obtained by ...
