Simplification of tetrahedral meshes [PDF]
We present a method for the construction of multiple levels of tetrahedral meshes approximating a trivariate function at different levels of detail. Starting with an initial, high-resolution triangulation of a three-dimensional region, we construct coarser representation levels by collapsing tetrahedra.

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Neurons are spatially extended structures with an elaborate dendritic tree that integrates spatio-temporal input patterns. Traditionally, this integration is analysed using compartmental simulations of the cable equation [1].

Rapid screening of staphylokinase protein variants using an unpurified cell‐free expression system
An unpurified cell‐free protein synthesis (CFPS) platform enables rapid functional screening of staphylokinase variants. Direct plasminogen‐activation assays performed in microplate format provide real‐time activity readouts, allowing rapid identification and ranking of variants with improved or reduced fibrinolytic activity without protein ...

Surfel Set Simplification With Optimized Feature Preservation
In this paper, we propose a novel scheme for simplifying a surfel set with the resultant surfels computed and distributed to preserve prominent geometric and textural features. It works by iteratively collapsing local neighborhoods around surfels until a

Context-Aware Document Simplification
International audienceTo date, most work on text simplification has focused on sentence-level inputs. Early attempts at document simplification merely applied these approaches iteratively over the sentences of a document.
