Optimising the Diagnosis of Sesame Seed Allergy With the Basophil Activation Test
The basophil activation test (using the activation marker CD203c) was the only test able to both exclude and confirm sesame seed allergy with precision. A negative skin prick test to sesame extract or tahini and undetectable IgE to Ses i 1 could not rule out sesame seed allergy.

A one‐day regional simulation course significantly improved confidence in five emergency OHNS procedures among South Pacific surgeons and trainees, with improvements sustained at 6 months. Two‐thirds reported applying course skills clinically, supporting simulation‐based education as a feasible approach to regional surgical capacity building.

Abstract We sketch a first‐ever map of the scholarly literature on co‐operatives and public policy from a selection of English‐language studies published since 2000 using a scoping review methodology. We find that while co‐operatives are often framed as solutions to societal problems, few scholars draw on formal public policy theories.
