The impact of agricultural production diversity on farmer household dietary diversity: a case study of Nanjing City

open access: yesFrontiers in Nutrition
Background/ObjectivesChina is one of the first developing countries to achieve poverty reduction goals, but there are still problems with unbalanced dietary structures in rural areas.

The optimal prediction simultaneous equation model selection [PDF]

open access: yes
Notes on unsolved problems The standard linear simultaneous equation model is considered. a) The problem is to compare analytically the estimated reduced (unrestricted and derived) and the structural form of SEM from prediction point of view (for ...

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

THE IMPACT OF CRUDE PALM OIL PRICE ON RUPIAH’S RATE

open access: yesBuletin Ekonomi Moneter dan Perbankan, 2014
Indonesia is a largest producer of Crude Palm Oil in the world, with increasing production and export from time to time. Since Indonesia now adopts a floating exchange rate regime, the export of such commodity may influence the real exchange rate, and ...

The Error of Prediction for a Simultaneous Equation Model [PDF]

open access: yes
One of the most important functions of a simultaneous equation model is prediction the values of endogenous variables given the values of the predetermined variables and a lot of work has been done to estimate the accuracy of such predictions. Hooper and

Simultaneous Equations Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Economists formulate models for consumption, production, investment, money demand and money supply, labor demand and labor supply to attempt to explain the workings of the economy. These behavioral equations are estimated equation by equation or jointly as a system of equations. These are known as simultaneous equations models.

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Estimation of Multilevel Simultaneous Equation Models through Genetic Algorithms

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
Problems in estimating simultaneous equation models when error terms are not intertemporally uncorrelated has motivated the introduction of a new multivariate model referred to as Multilevel Simultaneous Equation Model (MSEM).

Interdependent Durations [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper studies the identification of a simultaneous equation model where the variable of interest is a duration measure. It proposes a game theoretic model in which durations are determined by strategic agents.
