Approximations of Sturm-Liouville Eigenvalues Using Sinc-Galerkin and Differential Transform Methods
In this paper, we present a comparative study of Sinc-Galerkin method and differential transform method to solve Sturm-Liouville eigenvalue problem. As an application, a comparison between the two methods for various celebrated Sturm-Liouville problems ...

Acoustic Green's Functions using the 2D Sinc-Galerkin Method [PDF]
In many acoustic problems, the radiated sound field is dominated by scattering effects. Green's functions represent the scattering behaviour of a particular geometry and are required to propagate acoustic disturbances through complex geometries using ...

Under iron overload conditions, curcumin inhibits cellular senescence and promotes osteogenic differentiation by activating the NRF2/GPX4 signaling pathway in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs), thereby preventing the onset of osteoporosis. ABSTRACT Dysregulated proliferation and differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs ...

Abstract Ninety percent of all primary liver malignancies are hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC), making liver cancer the third most common cause of cancer‐associated mortality. Different patterns of programmed cell death (PCD) are crucial for the survival of tumors, and they might serve as a prognostic marker for HCC.

ABSTRACT Power lines in synthetic‐aperture radar (SAR) images are reflected as point signatures, which fluctuate annually in both the azimuth and range directions. A novel framework is proposed in this paper to evaluate the four‐dimensional dynamic status of power line sag using those point signatures in time‐series SAR images.

An Alternating-Direction Sinc–Galerkin method for elliptic problems
A new Alternating-Direction Sinc–Galerkin (ADSG) method is developed and contrasted with classical Sinc–Galerkin methods. It is derived from an iterative scheme for solving the Lyapunov equation that arises when a symmetric Sinc–Galerkin method is used ...

Abstract We introduce mixed super‐circles, a position‐curvature formulation of the original dynamic 2D super‐helix model. Compared to the latter, purely curvature‐based model – the so‐called chained formulation –, the mixed formulation that we propose here drastically reduces the algorithmic complexity of the solving scheme – from quadratic to quasi ...

PCSK9 aggravates AAA by promoting ferroptosis in VSMCs. In the pathological AAA environment, PCSK9 upregulation triggers ferritinophagy‐dependent degradation of FTH1, leading to Fe2+ release, triggering lipid peroxidation and ferroptosis, exacerbating AAA.

Discrete approximations of differential operators by Sinc methods
This dissertation explores the discrete approximation of differential operators by Sinc methods. This leads into the areas of Sinc matrices and, more generally, Toeplitz matrices.
